Domestic Violence

I handle all types of Domestic Violence cases, from allegations of no injury up to allegations of Great Bodily Injury, misdemeanors or felonies. These cases often involve the need to understand the dynamics of the relationship; and might be interwound with Family Court issues.  I can assist with Family Court issues by making referrals to well qualified attorneys who specialize in that area.  These cases often require the services of a Licensed Private Investigator to interview witnesses and prepare reports.  I have longstanding professional relationships with several well qualified Investigators.  

A Domestic Violence conviction has collateral consequences that include an inability to possess firearms or ammunition.  They can involve a year long weekly class, fines and restitution, jail time, and employment consequences.  It can impact child custody and visitation.
