Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Defense

There are only 10 days after arrest where the defendant can demand a DMV administrative hearing.  The DMV can suspend a driver’s license, in addition to the court.  Call for additional information regarding how to protect your rights and your driver’s license.

I provide defense for all levels of D.U.I., from those who are accused for the first time, to those who have previous convictions, to those who have aggravated facts and might be looking at the possibility of a prison term.

I am familiar with D.U.I. defenses including those related to alcohol, nonprescription drugs, prescription drugs, and driving issues.  I often work with an attorney who takes on the role of administrative hearing representative at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Common defenses include the accuracy of the test, blood alcohol level at the time of driving (as compared to the time of test), alcohol absorption (in the stomach rather than the blood at the time of driving), and whether driving took place.
